Purr - fect Friend | My Favorite Things

Hello there, it's Milly here today sharing my second GDT card for the month of May, I love cats so much and I have to admit I could and do spend hours watching cute cat videos on YouTube and Instagram. I just can't get enough of them, so will that in mind I had to create card with cats on.

Don't you think that cat on the right as such a funny expression on his or her face? The images are from MFT Cat-iude stamps and coloured in using colouring pencils.

Added a few clear sequins to finish the design and adhered the panel to US size A2 card blank.

Can I just say a massive Thank You to the lovely Kitty Frampton for inviting me again to guess for them during May. It's been such pleasure and working with her super and creative design team has been wonderful.

Happy Birthday

Howdy's Fi here with today's post!  It's late, but as they say better late than never

For this card I used the MFT Happy Birthday Background stamp and the MFT Beautiful Butterflies, I white embossed the background on watercolour card. I then stamped distress ink onto a piece of acetate, I loaded my brush with water and lifted the ink and washed it randomly over the embossed writing.  I didn't want to cover it all.  I inked up the butterfly with distress inks aswell and cut out.  I used sticky fixers to layer the butterfly and the sentiment. The sentiment is from Altenew Label Love.
I finished with some ink splodges and sequins.

Neat and Tangled | Better Together

Hello there, It's Milly here today, Kitty kindly asked me back to be Guest Designer for the month of May and I kindly agree to come back as it's such a great team.

I just had to use this wonderful stamp set by Neat and Tangled to make a card as I thought it would so perfect for a little boy's card, has it still has that masculine feel and not to babyish.

When designing the card I thought the image needed some grounding so I got out my trusty Silhouette machine to cut out some grass from green card.

Thank you for visiting today and hope your have enjoyed my post.

Neat and Tangled Better image is available and in stock at My Mum's Craft Shop

Hey Buddy

Hi all, Kitty here!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend and the sun is shinning where you are - it is here! Today I am sharing a boy card (I rarely make these!) that was recently in Crafts Beautiful Magazine...
For the main image of my card I used The Hobby House Toppers - Polly's Pals. I love these toppers they are perfect for cards an they are already coloured! I draw a border around the topper with a black pen to give it a frame. The papers are from my stash which are by crate paper and I also added the sticker & my boy embellishment from the same range. I threaded some twine though some buttons and glued them in place to finish.

Pop back tomorrow to see Marianne's latest card :)

Howdy's Fi here with today's post!

For today's card I have used the stamps from the Altenew Hibicus Bouquet set which are really pretty. I white embossed the flowers and the leaves onto watercolour card, I then scribbled randomly some of my Spectrum Noir Aqua markers on top and loaded my brush with lots of water and just kept brushing until I got the shade and colouring that I wanted.  I did leave it to dry in between applications.
Next I white embossed the sentiments onto black cardstock and layered onto the card and die cut the hello and glued directly onto the card. I added a few sequins to finish.

Four Legged Friends

Good morning crafty friends, Anne here today with the cutest new stamps from My Favourite Things

MMCS 6 MFT Four Legged Friends

The set is called Four Legged Friends and is also available with an optional die set too, they are adorable

I used the Crate PaperHeart Day’ papers which I’ve been using a lot recently, it’s a really useful pad

Good morning crafty friends, Friday again can you believe it? These weeks certainly do pass quickly

I have a treat for you today, these are the fabulous Paper Nest Dolls stamps and they are exclusively available in the UK from My Mum’s Craft Shop

I used Rainy Day Emma for this first card, such an adorable image and easy to colour too which can be a big help especially if you are short of time…

MMCS 4 Paper Nest Rainy Day Emma

The sentiment is one of the stamps from the Altenew Label Love set which I’ve been using a lot recently, in fact it never leaves my desk

I used some glossy accents on the puddle and for the rain although you can’t really see it well on the picture – I love that frog!

This second one is Hugs & Kisses Emma

MMCS 5 Paper Nest Hugs & Kisses Emma[5]

…and this image goes perfectly with the Crate PaperHeart Day’ papers. The sentiment is from the pad too

Be Postive...

Good Morning everybody, it's Fi here with today's inspiration!

I just love this stamp set, it's so versatile and has beautiful sentiments included in the set.  It's from Altenew and is called Smile More.

I white embossed the flowers and leaves randomly on to watercoloured card, I did have to do a bit of masking so that I could layer the images.  I then coloured the panel with distress inks, I think distress inks are really easy to use with this technique...I love it!

I stamped the sentiment using black archival ink and then added a few sequins to finish.

Showering You With Love

Hi everyone 😄

It's Janine  here with another Guest Designer card for Kitty and My Mum's Craft Shop.  For this one I've chosen one of the new release stamps from My Favorite Things (MFT); this little watery cuteness is called Pure Innocent 'Showering You With Love' and she's available in the shop. You can buy her as the stamp set only or with the die set as well.

This is such a lovely stamp to play with and one you could really pretty up, or maybe even paper piece. You could also do something similar to mine by simply colour her in bright colours against  a rainy backdrop so she 'pops'. Hope you like it.
Don't forget to drop by tomorrow to see what other lovelies we have to inspire you. 💖

Hello Spring

Hi everyone :)
Well although it may seem like Winter in the UK right now it is meant to be Spring! I have a cheerful card to share with you that was made using some fun products from the latest Doodlebug Collection...
Apologies for the slightly dark photo - very tricky to get decent light here at the moment. For this card I used the new Doodlebug Spring Things Paper Pad for all the background papers. I also used the Spring Things Die Cuts for all the flowers, embellishments and wording. The bunting came in the die cuts and I simply threaded it onto twine and added some rhinestones.

PS - We are waiting for more Doodlebug products to arrive very soon so watch this space!

I will be back soon :)

Elephant tags

Marianne here today.  I love these little guys and decided to make some tags with the MFT adorable elephant stamp and die set and Pebbles tealightful papers. I coloured the images with Copics and added clear Wink of Stella to the butterflies and a little bow to the kite. The tag die is a Spellbinders one I believe. The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.

Creative Girls…

Good morning everyone, Anne here with today’s inspiration….
This card is using a stamp from one of my favourite companies Stamping Bella. The range is called Creative Girls and this cutie is Until Olive
You get the image in two sizes and also two sentiments so they are great value for money and I think it’s really useful having a smaller option
This is the larger size and she does have legs, I chopped them off to fit the layout (sorry Olive!)
MMCS 3 Stamping Bella Until Olive
I adore these papers, they are from a Carta Bella pad called Flora
I’ll put a list of everything I used on my own blog and I’d love it if you stopped by
You can click on the product names to take you to them on the website, there are new arrivals coming in all the time so be sure to have a browse through the latest releases. If anything is out of stock just drop Kitty an email, she’d be happy to add it to the next order for you
Have a lovely weekend everyone
