Summer Fun

Hello there Tasha here, today i want to share a project using MME Everyday Flair and La La Lands Beach Marci.

Everyday Flair is a newly released collection from My Minds Eye and it is so beautiful, i love the mix of blues, pinks and yellows and the fun patterns, it is so very pretty.
I thought this paper would be perfect with Beach Marci, she was so much fun to colour and i love the size of her she is a fabulous stamp - i cannot wait until the new collection hits MMCS!
The card felt a little bare so i thought i would level it out with some felt clouds and a sun, i used MFT Die-namics Flat bottom Clouds and a circle Nestabilities.
The die behind Marcie is my go to die, Nellie Snellen Multi Frame Dies - Round, i love this die and i use it all the time.
I finished with some American Crafts Thickers and some Prima and MMCS flowers, i love those little Hydrangeas, they are so cute!

So why not make the most of the last few weeks of summer and make something full of summer fun?

In a Pickle!

Morning Folks.

Now I know it's August, but I'm afraid it's time to start thinking about the 'C' Word and I'm not talking Choklit! I know some of you will know the exact amount of days until the 'C' Word, but I'm not one of them. In fact, I'm a bit of a Bah Humbug when it comes to Christmas this early in the year. In fact, I'm a bit of a Bah Humbug about Christmas right up until about 18 December, at which point it's panic stations, but that's a story for another time.

This year all that has changed. Why? Kitty stocking the new Wild Rose Studio Christmas stash, that's why. Between them, they have a lot to answer for.

This cute little guy is called Pickle With Present. Isn't he adorable? And this is not the only Pickle stamp available. There's Pickle with Sledge, Pickle Skating, Pickle with Poinsettia and Christmas Cuddles too. You really need to take a look, I promise you'll be saying 'Ahhhhhhhhhhhh' without even realising it. And while you're at it, you should check out the fab Christmas Circles, Jolly Greetings Sentiments and Snowflakes in the same range.

And that's not all. There are Wild Rose Studio Paper Pads too. This paper is from the Wintry Christmas Stack. It's full of spots and stripes in pinks, lilacs and aquas. Just perfect, if like me, you want to pretend you're not really making a Christmas card in August!

Have fun!

Fairy Dust

Hi there, today i wanted to show you a card i made using

I am such a huge fan of this fairy stamp, she is adorable and was so easy to colour, perfect for a card you do not want to labour over!

The papers are

and i think they are lovely, the soft colours are beautiful and there is such a wonderful mix of prints.

The doily was made using

which is a beautiful die and cuts the intricate pattern fabulously.

The sentiment tickets i made with a combination of MFT dies, for the tickets  i used

and for the sentiments i used

I dabbed the tickets with some inks just to give them a little colour.

I then finished the card with some butterflies from the Dienamics notched tag die and stamp set and some MMCS Hydranges Daisies and Prima Eline Fuschia flowers.

Thanks for stopping by

Mustard latte anyone?

Hi there, today i wanted to share a card i made using

She is such a cute stamp and comes with 3 fun sentiments. This is a great stamp to use for miss you cards, catching up cards, or for coffee lovers - i know plenty of them!

I have also used

Jillibean Soup 6x6 Paper Pads - Dutch Mustard

I think the green, brown and yellow of this paper are suited to a coffee theme and i really love the funky patterns too.
All the card needed then were some
Prima Eline Flowers in Green and some MMCS Hydrangeas in yellow, a few gems and voila!

I hope you like it

Echo Park COuntry Drive and MFT Die-namics

Hi there today I'd like to share two cards with you i made using Echo Park and MFT products which are all available in store.

First up is this sewing theme card. I created this using Echo Park Country Drive 6x6 paper pad, i teamed the paper up with MFT Die-namics Sew Nifty stamp and die set. I absolutely love this new set, the dies are so cute and there is even a pair of scissors and other sewing accessories! I think the sentiment is really lovely, it is also part of the set.
I thought the flowers just pulled the paper and the other elements together, i used Prima Eline Fuchsia 2 and a pink MMCS Hydrangea daisy.

Again i used the Echo Park Country Drive 6x6 pad for this card, this time teaming it up with MFT Die-namics Perfect Pinwheel die and stamp set. I love the pinwheel i think it is so much fun, my four year old has had me making them for her. I modified the pinwheel a little to fit on the card, cutting off a few cms from the end of each blade. The sentiment is also from the MFT Die-namics Perfect Pinwheel die and stamp, its a lovely sentiment.
I felt that this die could only be teamed with one stamp - Some Odd Girl Pinwheel Panda, are they not just the perfect marriage? I decided to keep the rest of the card simple and just added a Prima Eline Fuchsia 2 flower and a MMCS Hydrangea daisy to the bow.

Thank you for stopping by

Something for the boys

Hey everyone - Zoe here, I am super excited to be posting here on the MMCS DT blog for the first time!!! Today I have two cards to share with you using some of the fabulous Wild Rose Studio goodies that are available in the store. I always find male cards difficult to make and find the Wild Rose Studio stamps perfect - they are just the right amount of cute and are a dream to colour, they even have matching Wild Rose Studio paper packs available!!!.

My first card features WRS Footy Lad stamp which has of course been coloured with my beloved copic markers, and WRS Just for Men papers.

Here is a little side view to show the dimension on the card - The little footballs are from the paper too, I just cut them out and added them with foam pads to make perfect matching embellishments!

My second card to share is another centre step card, I had never made one before but loved the effect it gave I had to go and make another!! This one uses WRS Gone Fishing Stamp.

I hope you like the cards, although they are pretty simple, I think this style of centre step card is just perfect for mens cards and shows the fabulous images off perfectly!!!

Boogie Down

Happy Monday everyone!  I can't quite believe it's the 1st of August - eek! That means we're in the 8th month of 2011 and only 145 days until Christmas!!  Ooh, talking about Christmas, I must let you know that there is lots of new Christmas crafty stash starting to arrive in the MMSC store - some yummy First Edition paper and lots of Fizzy Moon stash, not to mention the brand new Gorjuss Girls stamps!! I bet it won't be long until we start making Christmas cards! :)

Anyhoo, today I'd like to share a creation I have made using one of the brand new July release stamps from Whimsy Stamps.  This sassy girl is called Kenny K Boogie Down and will be available very soon at My Mum's Craft Shop:

I've used 2 different MFT Die-namics dies on this card. I just love how the Music Notes work perfectly with the stamp and the Stars match the paper so well! Here is a list of supplies, should you wish to do a little retail therapy...

Thanks so much for popping by today, and I hope you enjoyed my creation!
